The 2013 US Group LTD Experience Study compares claim outcomes across nine major American insurers. Participation was by invitation only, and all nine insurance companies agreed to participate. Dental Insurance Claims: Identifying Atypical Claims Activity in Healthcare

Written in 2007 and still ahead-of-the-curve! Through analytical techniques such as principal components and clustering, this predictive model considered the entire claims portfolio of over 1,500 dentists. The model proved to be very effective in identifying practitioners whose portfolio of claims differed significantly from the norm.
